Bachelor
of Ministry Degree
(Concentration In Pastoral
Studies)
Objectives
This
program of study will provide a major in ministry with a concentration in
pastoral studies. With a
strong foundation of theology and a practical knowledge of Biblical
ministry methods, this program of study will help prepare the student for
more effective pastoral ministry. Upon completion of the program the
student should demonstrate a good understanding of theological and
Biblical interpretation, as well as the ability to effectively use the
Word of God and his/her respective ministry gifts in pastoral ministry.
Course
Requirements
IIn
order to graduate with a Bachelor of Ministry Degree (B.Min.) with a
concentration in Pastoral Studies, the student must have satisfactorily
completed the following requirements:
1.
Pre-requisite:
Associate degree (or equivalent) in related/approved field
2.
A
minimum of 61 Credits for program completion
3.
Orientation
Requirements
4.
A
minimum of 5 Elective Credits
5.
A
minimum of 4 Practical Application Credits
6.
A
minimum overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0
7.
All
financial obligations settled with
VBC
8.
Recommendation
by the faculty for graduation
